No, not a plane but the name of a very tasty red onion.

This is the last onion that we have held in storage and now it has been memorialized.
The seed for this variety is from Pinetree Seeds in Maine.
One needs to start onion seeds at the beginning of January.
If you have problems with your onions not forming a big bulb then it is possible that
you might not be starting them early enough in the year.
Now I can make some soup.
And start the seeds for next year's onions.
